Christmas-themed Crafts to do with the Kids
Snowman Christmas Tree Decoration
Materials:
Polystyrene Balls Pipecleaners Pom Poms Bells Joggle Eyes Glue
Instructions:
- Glue polystyrene balls together
- Push one end of the pipecleaner into the top polystyrene ball, followed by the other end (forming a loop to hang the decoration)
- Decorate with joggle eyes, pom pom buttons, a pipecleaner nose and scarf with bell
- Once everything is dry – hang your decoration on your tree!
Handprint Reindeer Card
Materials:
Card/Paper Paint Pipecleaners Pom Poms Bells Joggle Eyes Glue
Instructions:
- Hole punch two pieces of card and thread pipecleaner through to hold cards together
- Place paint hand prints – one to create the head, and one upside down to create the body
- Decorate with joggle eyes, red pom pom and bell for the collar
- Decorate the background as desired
- Finish with a personal message for your family/friends!
Family Photo Frame
Materials:
Iceblock Sticks Paint Pom Poms Card Glitter Glue
Instructions:
- Glue iceblock sticks together to create a frame
- Paint and decorate your frame with pom poms and glitter
- Stick your chosen photo onto a piece of card (if there is excess card around the photo, cut the card to match the size of the frame)
- Stick your card, with photo now attached onto the back of the frame
- You now have the perfect Christmas gift for your family or a friend!
Classroom Christmas Wreath
Materials:
Card Paper Paint Glitter Glue
Instructions:
- Have each child in your class draw around their hand, then cut out their hand print
- Each child will then personalise their hand print with their name, glitter and paint
- Join each child's hand print creation together to form a Christmas Wreath for the classroom!
